WHO WE ARE
We are an Independent Game Studio based in Dundee, Scotland. From a multitude of backgrounds, we are working together to design, build and distribute video games that we are passionate about.
We are currently developing our first project, SILENT TOMBS, a Historic Tomb Exploration Roguelike, as a vehicle to explore, highlight and promote Ancient Celtic, Gaelic and Anglo Saxon culture across the British Isles.
We are a team of Game Developers passionate about building deep, immersive and atmospheric games. Our talented team uses a multitude of game development programs to create a vibrant, emotional experience for players.
Using Unity's HDR Pipeline to design and build, combined with audio integrated with Wwise, and building high quality artwork with Blender, Substance Painter and ZBrush, we are able to create amazing content within a focused timeline, allowing for more ambitious goals in our development cycle.
HISTORY IN GAMING
EDUCATION WITH ENTERTAINMENT
We aren't just looking at creating entertaining gameplay, but providing educational, historical content so players learn as they play.
We plan to partner with organisations around the world to accurately represent ancient monuments, cultures and events, to accurately portray them in gaming in ways they may not have before.
CEO / Game Designer
Vaughan Holloway has been designing Video Games for six years; He started designing Newgrounds Games and since then has worked across several platforms, including PC, Oculus and Samsung VR, designing and producing projects from start to finish.
CCO / 3D Artist
Konstantinos has been designing and creating artwork in games for both PC and Mobile, and has talent and experience in creating 3D and 2D artwork. He also has extensive experience building model sculpting, as well as creating HDR materials.
Alasdair has a natural talent for creating deep, immersive audio and since graduating last year, he has produced a huge amount of high quality music, SFX and audio that has been a huge asset to our project so far.
James has a long background in drawing and producing complex, beautiful concept art. Since starting with us, James has produced stunning artwork that both helps to showcase our game, but inspires us to create more.
Jimmy has a wealth of experience working at Aadvark Swift, and he's brought his Marketing and Community know-how over to Primordial, to help spread our projects to the world.
